Assistant Professor of International Studies>
The Department of International Studies at Marymount Manhattan College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in International Studies beginning in September 2012.
Required: a Ph.D. in International Political Economy or related field (ABD with firm dissertation defense date and Ph.D. by time of employment may be considered); a commitment to an interdisciplinary approach and interest in one or more of the following areas: international political economy, economic and social development, economics of gender, human rights, migration, human security, and international humanitarian law. A focus on Africa, with field experience, is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include teaching, successful pursuit of a scholarly agenda, and departmental and college service. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, syllabi samples, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation.
