Business in World Languages Workshop
The Business in World Languages Workshop is a week-long training workshop that will train instructors of World Languages/Less Commonly Taught Languages on how to incorporate Business Concepts in World Language Instruction. The workshop will:
- Introduce world language instructors to the “World Language Curriculum Framework that Incorporates Business Concept” at all levels of language instruction and train them on how to use the document.
- Train language instructors to develop learning plans and scenarios for their language using the Curriculum Framework.
- Participants in this workshop will be renumerated to create sample learning plans that will be used in their classrooms and shared with colleagues.
- Exemplary learning plans will be included in the World Language Curriculum Framework booklet which will be made available online for free to all K-16 instructors and others who express interest
